OUR VISION & MISSION
Welcome to Refugio City Church (RCC)! We are located in the city of New Brunswick, “ The Heart of New Jersey.” Refugio City Church is a place of refuge.
We are is a dynamic, Spirit-filled, Multi-Cultural, Bilingual Church that reflects God's Glory and Power not only in this community, but also worldwide. We are committed to preparing leaders to walk in their purpose and calling for the growth of the Body of Jesus Christ while providing any type of refuge that is within our reach to all who are in need. Here at RCC we believe everyone needs a safe place. Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge...”
Our mission is “Building a great city, one person at a time, through the work of the Holy Spirit.” We would love to connect with you. Come and be part of our growing family because “You Belong! Tú Perteneces!

We are excited that you have connected with us. Our prayer is that you may find that life changing experience you are looking for. Our goal is to bring a message of hope. A hope that only Jesus Christ can offer “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint” Isaiah 40:31. Hope is not found in religion or anything you can see, but in a personal relationship with Jesus. Refugio City Church would love to offer you the opportunity of HOPE!!

Lead Pastors | Refugio City Church
Norberto Jr. and Anaidalis Torres both are pastors and educators in the New Brunswick, NJ community. They have been pastoring Refugio City Church since September of 2007 and have been educators for the New Brunswick Board of Education since September of 1999. They joined matrimony in August 1991. Norberto Jr. and Anaidalis came from different backgrounds. He grew up in a christian home and she grew up catholic by tradition. God has brought them together with a unique dynamic in which they compliment each other in all areas. They both have a calling from God into His ministry. Wanting to focus on teaching the Word of God, they obtained a BA in Education at the Inter American University Ponce, PR. After completing their studies they returned to New Brunswick in 1999. Since then their family has grown and they now have four children (Amaris, Norberto III, Nisi, and Victoria). Their desire is to serve all those at their reach by bringing a Bible based message of love, hope, and spiritual healing.
